This song has a special place in my heart. It was the first song that I released that I absolutely fell in love with. I was new in Nashville, having moved out here from Las Vegas, and I had my first list “heartbreak” in this new city.
That heartbreak really launched me into songwriting more, and for that, I’ll always be grateful.
This song still feels like my baby, and it’s about letting go even when that’s not the easiest thing to do.
